Steven Chaplin, a member of Isolink and focussing on the development of electronic systems according to specific
customer requirements, has developed a number of systems and has proven to be invaluable as an Isolink member.
The following describes the various systems that Steven has been directly involved with:
Design and Development:
- Customised Industrial Temperature Controllers
- Electronic Gate Controllers
- Commercial / Residential Alarm systems
- Vehicle Security Systems / Anti-Hijack Systems / Central Locking Systems
- Vehicle track and recovery systems
- Electronic soak test equipment
- Distributed Control systems designed as PLC add-ons, or remote control systems for PC control
- Communications Converters (RS232/RS485/RS422)
System Design and Development:
- Integrated Fuel Management System
- Incorporating Site Controller, distributed forecourt pump controllers and RF ID tag readers for the
prevention of fraudulent fuelling.
- Fleet management systems
- Stone Stock Control System
- Monitoring the outgoing stone from a Quarry, RF ID tags used to identify the trucks, tags read at the silo and weigh-bridge, remote RF link to print reports.
- Functional test systems for automated device and system testing
- Multi-Zone Under-floor heating controller
- Remote I/O control for the control of farm irrigation pumps
- Remote management systems using GSM modems to communicate with site controllers
- Database driven Performance Improvement Reporting, enabling the reporting of circumstances requiring
action, and thereafter access to live data aimed at corrective and preventive action, and subsequent follow-up
- Electronic receiving/ despatch register
- Web Site design (HTML, ASP, JAVA)
