non-conformance / corrective action reporting

Having a management system, whether based on ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001, you will have a need to hi-light non-conformances for action.

We would like the opportunity to show you our electronic reporting system which if installed puts "live" data at your fingertips, among numerous other benefits, not least of which is the fact that the system performs the notifications via your own e-mail server, and compels each manager to take responsibility for non-conformances in his/her area, as opposed to the typical situation where a "Quality" Manager of sorts has to follow-up.

Whether you call it an NCR (non-conformance report), CAR (corrective action request) or PIR (performance improvement report) this system, used for non-conformances of any kind, including incidents and near misses, initiates action, tracks any comments made/ instructions issued, etc. It requires minimal "typing" but relies on a selection of customised options, designed to enable extensive analyses, leading to the identification of trends, opportunities for improvement, and an assessment of the effectiveness of actions taken.

Advantages of the Isolink electronic Performance Improvement Report:

  • Extract reports/ graphs at any time, reflecting current data;
  • View comments/ actions/ results of investigations/ follow-up, in the order in which it was noted, for any non-conformance, at your convenience.
  • Extract reports that reflect on actions, or lack thereof, by designated personnel,
  • Incorporate PONC (Price Of Non-Conformance) and assess the value against defined criteria.
  • Each and every person fulfils their role, rather than an individual "chasing" non-conformances for actions/ follow-up/ close-out.

The use of electronic forms is unlimited, as is the analysis of data, but must obviously be applied only where it can add value. By reviewing the PIR system, you will be in a position to evaluate the principle used, in terms of identifying other applications where "live" electronic communications are appropriate.

Other areas developed/ currently being developed include:

  • the communication of customer orders;
  • product handover requiring various approval stages;
  • supplier approval;
  • defect reporting;
  • customer satisfaction surveys;
  • electronic shift reports;
  • operational reports, automatically generating line graphs reflecting on performance ratios, e.g. equipment utilisation;
All of which can safely interface with all divisions/ branches across your network.

We would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate this system at your convenience.
